I'm a photographer based in the Hochatown and Broken Bow area — one of the most photographically beautiful corners of Oklahoma — and I've been lucky enough to call it home. My wife Beth's family, the Foggs and Camps, have had roots here for over 50 years. This isn't a place I drive to for shoots. It's where I live.
I got into photography the same way a lot of people did — pushing phone cameras to their limits until I eventually had to get a real one. That first Canon T3i turned into a T6i, which turned into Sony mirrorless gear, which turned into a full-blown obsession with natural light and real moments.
I specialize in elopements, cabin shoots, family sessions, and pet portraits. My clients usually come in saying they hate photos. They leave surprised at how easy and unforced it felt. That's the whole point.

Golden hour in the Ouachitas is unlike anywhere else in Oklahoma. I've spent years scouting the ridge lines, lake banks, and forest clearings that catch it just right. I don't consult Google Maps before your shoot — I already know.
From the public overlooks to the quiet off-trail locations most visitors never find, I have a mental library of backdrops for every vibe — intimate, epic, woody, lakeside. We'll pick the right one for you before we ever leave the cabin.
Timing, weather, weekend crowds — I can tell you when to go where and how to avoid the foot traffic. That kind of local knowledge means better photos and a more relaxed session for everyone involved.

I don't do stiff poses or over-directed shots. I pay attention to the moments happening between the planned ones — the laugh that came out of nowhere, the way you look at your dog, the quiet second before the vows. Those are the shots people hang on walls.
Sessions feel more like a walk with a friend who happens to have a camera. That's by design.

Started on Canon DSLRs back in the early 2010s, worked through the pandemic refining my style, and moved to Sony when it gave me exactly the look I wanted for clients. Fast autofocus, exceptional low-light performance — perfect for the forest and lakeside environments I work in most.
